Strong Showings in Week #5
Glastonbury,New Britain,Manchester and Southington

Disappointments in Week #5
Windsor,Conard,Hall and Wethersfield all getting Blown Out .

Friday Night Games:
.....................................
.....................................
South Windsor at Bloomfield, 7:00 p.m.
Pick um game.....Go with the home team(Warhawks at Phil Rubin Stadium) in the high scoring affair.

Manchester at Glastonbury, 7:00 p.m.
"Let there be light"..Follow the beaming(Temporary) lights to the game of the week in the CCC.The football Fanatic may come a calling to see the Indians take on the Tomahawks in a battle of two undefeated teams. The Guru predicts the Tomahawks(Glastonbury)to be a little too strong for the new and highly improved Indians of Manchester.

New Britain at East Hartford, 7:00 p.m.
Hurricanes go to 5-1 with an easy win over the Hornets.Man that week #4 loss to the Weaver Beavers is going to hurt come December.

Simsbury at Southington, 7:00 p.m.
Can Simsbury knock off another CCC top dog 2 weeks in a row ?
Not unless Simsbury is from New Jersey.
Blue Knights stay hot(undefeated against Connecticut competition) and win by 2 scores and move a little closer to December.

Bristol Eastern at Maloney, 6:30 p.m.
Spartans 1 game winning streak comes to an end as the Lancers improve to 3- 3 with an easy win.

Newington at Bristol Central, 7:00 p.m.
Indians go to 5-1 with a lopsided win against the Rams at Muzzy field.

Platt at Bulkeley, 7:00 p.m.
Not the most entertaining game of the week.Flip a coin and the winner is... Platt in a nail bitter

Saturday Games:
................................
................................
E.O. Smith at Fermi, 1:00 p.m.
Saturdays's version of the Platt at Bulkeley game.Flip a coin and the winner is... Platt.. I mean Fermi Falcons in a nail bitter.

Rockville at Hartford Public, 1:00 p.m.
Coach Bellucci and the Owls finally taste victory #2 of 2008 .Andre Lawrence with a career type day .

Conard at Weaver, 12:00 p.m.
Closely contested game.If Weaver stays away from one of their big turnover games and stays away from numerous flags they should come away with a close win over the their arch nemesis the Chieftains who are still smarting from their whipping in week #5 at the hands of Southington.

Farmington at Hall, 1:30 p.m.
Hall played pitiful in week #5 vs New Britain.Even that effort will be enough for a home win against the helpless Indians .Expect the Warriors to step it up against Farmington and win BIG.

Windsor at Wethersfield, 2:00 p.m.
Windsor wins its 5th game of the year against the sinking (3 losses in a row)Wethersfield Eagles at Frank Cottone Field. If Windsor plays a strong complete game they win big. A half game effort(something the Warriors are sometimes known for) they still win a closer game

I am not sure if I could even point in the right direction on a map as to where Glastonbury is.......Is that not the place former WWF (WWE now)champion Bob Backlund came from????

I will going "UP" to Glastonbury on Friday.Bob Backlund was born in Minnesota but actually lives in Glastonbury.A few years back he ran for a city political office but lost.
